STRONG
SINCE
1966.

Tradition is the foundation of our strength. Since 1966, Eisen Neumüller has stood for reliability, integrity and expertise in steel wholesale and metal recycling.
What Herma and Johann Neumüller started has grown over the decades into a modern recycling company.
Today, we combine experience with forward-looking solutions—for industry, commerce and partners who value quality, consistency, and clear principles.

The first steps

In 1966, Herma and Johann Neumüller founded their steel and scrap metal business. Since then, Eisen Neumüller has been a true family-run business. In 1984, they purchased a 10,000 m² plot of land in Mauthausen and built their first warehouse there.

Constant expansion, including in the scrap sector and problems with scrap loading (which first had to be loaded onto trucks and then onto railcars at the Mauthausen station) ultimately necessitated a relocation for the scrap business.

CONSTANT
EXPANSION

In 1998, a suitable location was found at Ennshafen.
As early as 1999, the new scrap yard with its own spur track was put into operation. The next major expansion took place in 2005.
A harbor basin was leased in Ennshafen to enable the company to also source steel by ship via waterways. After a six-month trial period, the decision was made to acquire a harbor property of approximately 22,000 m².

A warehouse with approximately 8,000 m² of covered space was constructed in 2006. Further expansion measures followed in Ennshafen in 2009.
Today, steel and scrap are traded and stored there on a total area of 80,000 m²

MODERN SUCCESS

At Eisen Neumüller, the blend of experience, tradition and innovation in the steel and scrap business is complemented today by state-of-the-art IT systems for organization and logistics.
Even today, the principle of a handshake still holds true here.

In addition to traditional steel and scrap trading, Eisen Neumüller also offers customized waste disposal solutions. Responsibility in recycling requires not only technical expertise but also high-performance equipment. With its water-land transshipment facility at the port in Ennsdorf and its own modern fleet of trucks, Eisen Neumüller is ideally equipped for this.
